Sculpture

Often when I am practicing gratitude, I thank the universe for my health and other things I find myself taking for granted. As I grow older, I realize having my five senses is something I do not think much about unless I have a stuffy nose, or smell something I do not like. I wanted to expand on this thought and created a five-piece, interactive sculpture focusing on the things we take most for granted.

This piece was very out of my comfort zone at the time and I had to work through a lot of unexpected challenges that presented themselves as a result of medium choice. Nevertheless, I persisted! This project took the longest to complete out of my portfolio but it is still one of my favorites to date.
